What parts of Delaware do you cover?
We work across the state, from the northern suburbs down through central and southern Delaware toward the coast. The city list on this page is the fastest way to check. If you do not see your town, call anyway. We cover Delaware alongside Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina and Washington DC, and coverage lines shift with crew scheduling.
My AC runs all day in July but the house still feels clammy. Why?
That is usually a humidity problem rather than a cooling capacity problem. Delaware summers push a lot of moisture into a house, and a system that is oversized cools the air fast then shuts off before it has pulled water out of it. Leaky return ducts in a vented crawlspace make it worse by drawing damp air straight into the system. We measure temperature and humidity at the supply and return, check the coil and drain, and look at the duct runs before recommending anything.
How fast can you get someone out?
Call us and we will give you a real window based on what is open that day, not a guess. Heat-related calls in a July stretch and no-heat calls during a January cold snap fill up first, so earlier in the day is better. Tell us if anyone in the house is elderly, very young or has a health condition and we will move you up the list.
What should I have ready before the technician arrives?
Know the brand and rough age of both the indoor and outdoor equipment, and where they sit. Clear a path to the indoor unit, whether that is a basement, closet or attic. Note when the trouble started and whether it happens all day or only in the afternoon heat. If you have changed the filter or reset a breaker recently, mention it. Keep pets somewhere separate.
I smell gas near my furnace. What do I do?
Get everyone out of the house first, then call 911 or your gas utility from outside. Do not flip switches, do not touch the thermostat and do not go back in until they clear it. Once the utility says the building is safe, call us and we will inspect the heating equipment. The same applies if a carbon monoxide alarm sounds: leave, call, then reach us.
How it works
- Step 1
Tell us the symptom
Call or fill in the form and describe what changed. Warm air, short cycling, a smell, water near the indoor unit. Details like that help us load the right parts before we leave.
- Step 2
We diagnose the whole system
We check the thermostat, the indoor unit, the outdoor unit and the ductwork, including runs in crawlspaces where damp air and loose joints quietly cause weak airflow and long run times.
- Step 3
You approve the fix
We explain what failed, what it takes to repair it, and what we would watch next season. Nothing gets replaced without your yes, and we clean up before we leave.

Why homeowners call us
- Humidity is our home groundMuggy summers and damp shoulder seasons drive most of the calls we take. We look at moisture and airflow together, not the cooling number alone, because a clammy house often means a sizing or duct problem.
- Crawlspace ducts get checkedOlder homes across the region run supply ducts through vented crawlspaces. Crushed flex, disconnected boots and soaked insulation show up constantly, and we get under the house to look instead of guessing from the register.
- Heating and cooling bothSame crew for air conditioning repair in July and heating repair in January. We know how your furnace, heat pump and air handler share ducts and a blower, so one visit covers the whole system.
- Plain talk on repair or replaceWhen a repair makes sense, we repair it. When a system is failing in ways that will keep costing you, we say so and explain why, then leave the decision with you and your timeline.
- All major brands, gas & electricCarrier, Trane, Lennox, Goodman, Rheem, York and more, as an independent company.
- Straight answersIf a system is not worth repairing, we say so, often right on the phone.
